ViewSonic just revealed its latest 7-inch tablet, ViewPad 7e, that retails for $200. The new slate is advertised as a content consumption device that it’s ideal for reading, surfing the web and entertainment and will try to compete with the Amazon’s Kindle Fire.
The ViewPad 7e is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread running on a 1 GHz processor, has 4 GB internal storage, 800×600 multitouch display and RiteTouch stylus support. Other features incorporated includes a 3 MP back camera and 0.3 MP front camera, Flash Support, HDMI port, Wi-Fi support and Bluetooth enabled.
In what concerns the application side, 7e will include TuneIn Radio, MediaFly, Dropbox as well as ViewScene 3D which is ViewSonic’s 3D Android interface.
Is this to be considered another good alternative to Amazon’s Kindle Fire?
