Kindle Fire gets more and more attention from developers and lots of different OS releases are tested or are under development. Now the latest version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich, has been ported to Kindle Fire or well…almost.
Forum member g1011999 from XDA-Developers forum has made the attempt to put Android 4.0 on the Kindle Fire with the promise of a kernel release in the upcoming future. We said above that Android Ice Cream Sandwich is almost ported because it comes at the moment with a few non-working features.Audio, Wi-Fi, accelerometer, light sensor are currently not working so it would be good to wait for a little bit longer until these are fixed. Until the release is going to safely work on the Kindle Fire, have a look at the video bellow..and enjoy!
You can discuss about the above on our forum as well, the Kindle Fire Forum!
